More than 60% of the Syrian refugee households include a person with disability, and 1/5 of refugees in Lebanon and Jordan have a disability, according to a new study by HI and iMMAP*.

In June, a delegation from HI attended the Conference of State Parties (CoSP) to the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (CRPD) in New York, to present its work on women and girls with disabilities, disaggregation of data by disability and humanitarian action, among others.
